SEPA Instant
SEPA Instant – Instant transfers of Euros, performed 24/7/365 and reaching the recipient within seconds. SEPA Instant payments are only executed if both the sending and receiving banks are connected to the SEPA Instant program.
SEPA
SEPA Payment transfers are a secure, cost-effective and price-transparent way to transfer funds from one bank to another within the SEPA zone. In order to send or receive SEPA transfers, the service provider must be a SEPA participant. Transfers are made in Euros, using identification details such as the applicable International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Business Identification Code (BIC).
Currently, nearly 3,000 banks from 23 countries have joined the SEPA Instant system. In the future, this list will be expanded to connect all banks in all 36 SEPA countries, thus eliminating geographical boundaries for payments within Europe.
